Lee LeCaptain, of the Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show coordinated the competitors to come to the event as the First Lumberjack Championships in the SW United States. Competitors are the best in the world for Ax throwing, log rolling, wood chopping, obstacles, and other sanctioned events. Come see the inaugural event Saturday, October 1 at Bull Salas Park in New Caney.
