About the guests

Dr. Bartlett

I love being a part of Lone Star Elementary. Our teachers and students are the best! Prior to joining LSE, I was a principal for 7 years and an assistant principal for 7 years in Cypress Fairbanks ISD.  I taught for 8 years in Katy ISD, working with kids in elementary and middle school. During my 24 years in Texas public schools, I have also taught college courses, reviewed educational leadership books for publishing companies, and provided instructional training at the local and state level.  In 2012, I was named the State Winner of the HEB Excellence in Education Award for Elementary School Principals.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Education, Master of Education, and Doctor of Education degrees at the University of Houston, focusing on educational leadership.  I love living in Montgomery and seeing the LSE families at community events. Working with teachers and students is my favorite part of the job, and I enjoy helping make a difference in my “hometown”. If it is the weekend or evening, you might find me cheering for my own kids at their sporting events, shopping at the local boutiques, or having dinner with my family. If you need to visit with me during the workday, you can reach me at 936-588-5909 or cbartlett@misd.org.

It is an absolute honor to be a part of the greatest school district in the State of Texas.  While I have had the privilege of serving the Montgomery community as the Director of Technology for almost four years, I have a total or 23 years in the technology field with 14 of those devoted to K-12 education.    I have a wonderful wife who is a Texas History Teacher and I am a proud father of a Texas A&M graduate and a High School Sophomore.
